Laboratories
Laboratories are helpful in creating and promoting scientific attitude in the pupils. It provides a proper
and congenial place for performing experiments and is helpful in developing a sense of cooperation
among the students.
At Samar Study Hall we have well equipped, innovative, spacious labs for various subjects like
Computer Science (Jr. and Sr.), Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Home Science etc.
Language Lab
The newly set up English language lab in the school offers an exclusive result oriented and efficient
system to enrich the language learning process. The digital language lab motivates students' learning
attitude, providing an interactive learning environment. The audio-visual aids fulfill the need of
language educators and gives life to language. The ergonomically designed furniture and seating
structure is conducive to an interactive and healthy learning environment
Library
The primary goal of our library is to aid students and teachers in their quest for knowledge and to
ensure that students are effective users of information. The library provides access to materials in all
formats.
Physical Education
The school has a big play field and provides a variety of outdoor and indoor games. The Physical
education department stocks an assortment of modern equipment required for various games.
Besides a full time Physical Training Instructors, the School also arranges special coaches for
Volleyball, Cricket, Football, Athletics, Yoga, Karate amongst other sports activities.
Music , Art and Drama
School has full time Dance, Music and Art teacher with separate infrastructure allocated to this
wonderful sense of human life. Regular lessons for these classes is inculcated in the curriculum so
that Students can learn and groom their talent .
Technology in Learning
All our classrooms are equipped with interactive boards, LCD projectors and special programs to
make concepts more interesting through the audio-visual medium converting total studies into virtual
3dimension which helps students to grasp quicker and better. The school follows the ICT method of
education as prescribed by the CBSE.
Professional Development Programme
The school arranges workshops and seminars for teachers as
well as students School also arranges the services of professional Masters like Yoga instructor,
Personality Development Instructor , Abacus ,Writing and Public speaking skills.
School and its Social Responsibility
We completely understand the school's responsibility and accountability towards the society. Keeping
that in mind the school continuously works alongside esteemed NGO's in spreading basic awareness
issues like Election awareness and the importance of voting, Anti-pollution drives, plantation drives
etc. Regular health checkup camps are held in the school where qualified Doctors from Kashipur take
part in providing medical check up to the people from the economic weaker sections of the society
completely free of cost. Addition to that medicines are also provided free of cost to them.
House System
At Samar Study Hall students are divided into four houses:
Kachnar(Green), Gulmohar(Red), Amaltash(Yellow) and Kaner(Blue). We have many different
interhouse competitions in Sports, Academic and Extra Co-curricular activities. This enables the spirit
of sportsmanship and healthy completion amongst the students.
