On 19.07.2022, a seminar was organized under the aegis of District Legal Services Authority in the courtyard of Samar Study Hall School, Kundeshwari, which was inaugurated jointly by the panel advocate Mr. Umesh Joshi, Mr. Deepak Kandpal and the school President Mrs. Mukta Singh.
Children from Classes 9 to Classes 12 participated in this seminar. This seminar was related to the knowledge of acid attack. Umesh Joshi, Panel Advocate of District Legal Services Authority told the children about acid attack and said that many such incidents happened in our country throughout the year. A person/woman suffering from acid attack has to face many problems. He told that if someone has an acid attack, then no private or government hospital can refuse to treat him, not only that, in the Lok Adalat, the hearing of that person / woman is done at the earliest and the culprit should be sentenced as soon as possible. The children were told by Mr. Umesh Joshi that no child below the age of 18 years should drive, it comes under the category of legal offense. If children above 18 years, they should also drive with great care with helmet.
In this program legal advisors of District Legal Services Authority Smt. Geeta, Smt. Gayatri Gupta, Smt. Kusumlata, Shri Randhir Singh Saini, Shri Jitendra Kumar, Smt. Hema Kumari, Smt. Rajni also addressed the children.
After the program, saplings were also planted in the school premises by the guests in the presence of the School Principal Mr. Anuj Bhatia and he thanked everyone.
On this occasion, Secretary of the school Shri. Anurag Kumar Singh, Shri Manu Agarwal, Shri Rajendra Fartiyal, Smt. Neha Kukreti, Smt. Ekta Bhatia, Shri Tanzeem Khan and all the teachers were present.
