Telescope making
On day 2 of the workshop at Samar Study Hall, Kashipur where students learnt about Telescopes- the most essential tool of Astronomy.
The students had the opportunity to learn about the evolution of telescopes, as well as the different types, objectives, principles, and optics of telescopes in this workshop. As part of their project, students also made their own refractive telescopes using lenses and other materials. The workshop also included teaching students how to use a professional telescope and pointing out different terrestrial objects.
