In Aditya program at Samar study hall, Kashipur where students learnt about our parent star- The Sun
As part of the lesson, the students learned about different observation techniques that can be used to safely observe the sun. To observe the sun indirectly, students first made a pinhole viewer and then used a special solar filter on a telescope to observe the sun and its dark spots. Students also learnt about the Sun's size, mass structure, different layers, auroras how it makes its energy, and why there is life only on Earth.
